‘What does artist see?’ is a fundamental question that calls for an examination of a series of ideas and thoughts. The attempt is not to scale down an essentially instinctive act of depiction, but to look into certain areas of reflections to broaden the scopes for understanding.

 

Moderated by Adip Dutta the conversation between practitioners like Dr. Paula Sengupta, Amritah Sen, Soma Das and Anjan Modok, shall look into depiction, documentation, narration and layering against the backdrop of the current exhibition, Between the Self and Silhouettes.
